Founder-led, safety-first.
Arkona Home Robotics is built in Berlin by a single founder today. This pre-seed round funds the four founding engineers who join next.
Kaoru Naganuma
Leads Arkona's safety-harness vision for physical AI. Building in Berlin.
One founder, deep-tech background.
Kaoru has scaled products at Apple, Intel and Tesla, and most recently served as Chief Product Officer at eleQtron, a German quantum-computing startup. That deep-tech, hardware-adjacent experience now goes into Arkona's core bet: a perception-grounded safety harness for physical AI, validated live in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab before it ever touches a home.
Arkona is a solo-founder company as of today — deliberately narrow in scope until the safety harness is proven, rather than a team built ahead of the evidence.
Four founding hires, funded by this round.
Not yet on the team — the roles this raise exists to fill.
Founding Robotics Engineer
Manipulation, control and real-world robot systems.
Founding ML Engineer
World models, perception and sim-to-real learning.
Hardware/Controls Engineer
Real-hardware validation — starts month 4.
Safety/Compliance Engineer
Owns the CE-readiness critical path: real perception, safety-rated architecture, ISO 12100.
Building the future of home robotics?
We are talking to researchers, hardware partners, early collaborators and future teammates who want to help teach robots to understand the physical world.
